‘Store Brands Phenomenon’ Theme Of Show

‘The Store Brands Phenomenon’ is the theme for the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) ‘2023 Private Label Trade Show.’ The growth of store brands has been strong and steady, says PLMA. By the end of 2022, annual store brand sales had increased by approximately 40 per cent over a five-year period. In addition, the double-digit gains seen in 2022 have continued through the first quarter of 2023, with sales and dollar and unit market shares at all-time highs. Store brand products are also moving into new categories, chains, channels, and platforms, offering retailers important points of differentiation, a competitive advantage, and can help them build customer loyalty.
