Consumer Habits Have Changed

Consumer habits have forever changed since the pandemic began, says Eric Morris, managing director and head of retail at Google Canada, at the ‘RCC STORE Conference 2021.’ Just under 13 per cent of all sales were eCommerce sales in 2021, a result of just one of five habits that have changed for consumers. Following the surge of eCommerce is the rise of the homebody consumer, consumers that are more undecided despite having more choices, customers shopping with their personal values in mind, and the digital shopper that has changed from solely buying to preferring an immersive shopping experience.
