ACE Mentor Program teams up with Simpson Strong-Tie

The ACE Mentor Program and Simpson Strong-Tie have partnered in 2024 to promote construction trades careers among high school students nationwide. Simpson Strong-Tie is investing $50,000 with ACE for architecture, engineering, and construction program development and has appointed Annie Kao, vice president of strategic partnerships and engagement, to ACE’s national Board of Directors.

The partnership will include an annual Trades Day at Simpson Strong-Tie facilities in October 2024, featuring tours, hands-on building activities, and career discussions with employees. Additionally, Simpson Strong-Tie will support ACE through its annual Do What You Can Day, where employees give back to local communities.
