Akonovia and IME Experts-Conseils announce merger

Akonovia, an engineering consulting firm specializing in energy transition and decarbonization, has announced a merger with IME Experts-Conseils, a firm specializing in mechanical and electrical design and construction management.

This strategic alliance aims to strengthen both companies’ positions in the market and broaden their range of services. The merger will combine their expertise, resources, and technologies to create a more robust company better equipped to meet the industry challenges of energy efficiency and decarbonization.

Akonovia, founded in 2014, has a team of 50 employees and has completed over 850 projects. IME Experts-Conseils has been in operation for 32 years and has a team of 35 employees.

The combined company will operate under the Akonovia name, with IME Experts-Conseils continuing to operate under its own name during a transition period.
