All Segments Contribute To RPM Growth

RPM International Inc. had net sales of $1.52 billion for the third quarter of fiscal 2023, an increase of 5.7 per cent over net sales of $1.43 billion in the third quarter of fiscal 2022. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) were $70.5 million, up 5.5 per cent compared to EBIT of $66.9 million in the year-ago period. The company says all four segments achieved record third-quarter sales, which were driven by increased pricing in response to continued inflation, partially offset by foreign exchange. Sales in the construction products group increased 3.1 per cent year over year; sales in the performance coatings group increased 10.6 per cent; sales in the specialty products group increased 0.9 per cent; and sales in the consumer group increased 7.5 per cent.
