Americas Division Leads ASSA ABLOY Sales

ASSA ABLOY had net sales of SEK32,915 million in the fourth quarter of 2022, an increase of 28 per cent compared to net sales of SEK25,623 million in the fourth quarter of 2021. Operating income was SEK5,152 million in the quarter, up 28 per cent compared to SEK4,013 million in the prior-year period. Operating margin remained flat at 15.7 per cent and net income was SEK3,729 million compared to SEK3,043 million. The company says its Americas division delivered sales growth of 11 per cent year over year, driven by good price realization and a continued strong demand in the non-residential market. As well, there was 10 per cent year over year growth in entrance systems, mainly driven by the U.S. market.
