ASSA ABLOY completes acquisition, divestment

ASSA ABLOY has completed its acquisition of Spectrum Brands’ Hardware and Home Improvement (HHI) division and its divestment of Emtek and the Smart Residential business in the U.S. and Canada to Fortune Brands. The addition of HHI will complement ASSA ABLOY’s product offering and geographic scope and provide opportunities for its residential business in the US and Canada.
