Beko recognized for sustainability achievements in 2024 S&P Global CSA
Beko scored 89/100 in the 2024 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). This evaluation ranks environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives across global corporations. Beko has also been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices for the eighth year.
The company’s science-based climate targets were recently validated by the Science Based Targets initiative, marking a pivotal step in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Near-term goals include a 42% reduction in Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions by 2030, with long-term plans for a 90% reduction by 2050, compared to 2022 levels.
CEO Hakan Bulgurlu emphasized, “Sustainability is not just a goal—it’s a responsibility we owe to our business, our planet, and to future generations.”
