BMR Dealer Adds Electronic Shelf Labels

BMR Group dealer Avantis Cooperative, a Quebec co-operative with net sales of over $650 million, is extending its agreement with JRTech Solutions, an electronic shelf label provider, to equip additional BMR hardware stores with Pricer electronic shelf labels (ESLs). Avantis has previously installed the technology in 15 of its BMR locations and will now add it to nine additional locations, including its landmark store, BMR Lac Megantic, which, it says, was the first hardware store of any banner in North America that installed digital smart labels. “By expanding this strategic relationship with JRTech Solutions, we are ensuring that we continue to rollout pricing accuracy, appropriate inventory control, and enhanced customer experiences throughout our chain of stores,” says Israel Ward-McNally, retail vice-president at Avantis Coopérative.
