Boise Cascade Sales Slide

Boise Cascade had consolidated sales of $1.63 billion for the fourth quarter of 2022, a decrease of nine per cent over consolidated sales of $1.78 billion in the fourth quarter of 2021. Net income for the quarter was $117.4 million, down 31 per cent compared to net income of $169.1 million in the year-ago period. Sales of wood products, including sales to the building materials distribution (BMD) segment, decreased five per cent to $425.6 million year over year and sales for BMD decreased 12 per cent to $1.44 billion.
