Canfor to sell BC pulp mill site

Canfor Pulp Products Inc. plans to sell its Taylor, BC, BCTMP pulp mill site.

"I am very pleased we have reached an agreement to sell our assets in Taylor to a new owner that is committed to repurposing the site and developing a long-term plan which will benefit the community," says Kevin Edgson, president and CEO, Canfor Pulp.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, with closing expected to occur during the first quarter of 2024.
