Castle welcomes GTA dealer

Milton, ON-based Lumberville Co. Ltd. is the latest independent LBM retailer to join Castle Building Centres Group Limited.

Lumberville Co., a family-owned and operated lumber and building materials retailer, founded by Maria and Pasquale Mercurio Sr., opened its doors almost 40 years ago. Today, their son Pasquale Jr., who began working with his parents back in his adolescent years, proudly manages the thriving business.

The decision to transition to a buying group after so many years as an independent was not an easy one. The family was confident that Castle was the right partner for them.

“Our industry is evolving and to stay competitive we need to be focused on efficiency, consumer experiences, and diversity. Castle’s support and business tools help independents focus on what is most important, making money,” says Mercurio Jr.

He says he is looking forward to the many benefits of being part of the group including the extensive vendor network and business support tools available to his business as a new Castle dealer.
