Core growth bumps JELD-WEN revenue 

JELD-WEN Holding, Inc. had net revenue of $1.22 billion for the first quarter of 2023, an increase of 4.4% compared to net revenue of $1.17 billion in the first quarter of 2022. The increase was driven by core revenue growth, partially offset by adverse foreign exchange impact. Net revenue for the North American segment increased $45.7 million, or 6.3%, to $768 million compared to the prior-year period. Overall net income for the quarter was $15.1 million, compared to net loss of $500,000 in the same period last year, an increase of $15.7 million. The growth in net income was driven by positive price/cost, partially offset by lower volume/mix.
