Deere Has Strong Sales

Deere & Company had net income of $1.88 billion for the third quarter ended July 31, compared with net income of $1.67 billion for the quarter ended August 1, 2021. Net sales and revenues increased 22 per cent, to $14.1 billion in the quarter. Production and precision agriculture and small agriculture and turf sales for the quarter increased due to higher shipment volumes and price realization, partially offset by the unfavourable impact of currency translation. Construction and forestry sales moved higher for the quarter primarily due to price realization.
