DEWALT launches Dedicated Plunge Router

DEWALT, a Stanley Black & Decker brand, has launched its 20V MAX 2-1/4 Peak HP Dedicated Plunge Router. This cordless tool is designed to deliver powerful and consistent cutting performance and can complete up to 256 linear feet routing 5/8-inch roundovers in pine on a single charge.

The router features integrated dust collection with Airlock compatibility to help maintain a clean workspace, and the Perform & Protect Anti-Rotation System that senses the rotational motion of the tool and shuts it down if the motion is excessive. Its 2-1/4 peak HP brushless motor can handle router bits up to 2-1/2-inch in diameter and is equipped with a plunge lock lever, an adjustable three-position turret stop, a tool-free depth adjustment system, and a spindle lock for fast and accurate setup.
