Entrepreneurs acquire Saskatchewan RONA store

Matthew Klassen and Krista Funk, owners of Highmark Holdings Ltd and Drifters Motel, have acquired RONA La Ronge, in LaRonge, SK.

This 2,700-square-foot proximity store serves professionals for building materials, as well as the small community of La Ronge for hardware, paint, and plumbing needs. The assortment offered to Pros will be expanded with new products, such as standard windows and doors, metal products, and various insulation types.

“The RONA banner allows us to offer a wide selection of materials and services for Pros with the VIPpro program,” says Klassen, who has worked for over 30 years in the construction industry. “We want to offer a best-in-class turnkey service for our customers who own homes, commercial buildings, cottages, or restaurants.”
