Eva-Last Americas acquires Fortress Building Products’ composite decking subsidiary

Fortress Building Products has announced the completed transaction with Eva-Last Americas for the sale of the assets of its composite decking subsidiary, including Fortress Decking, Cladding and HULK Fasteners, as well as the associated exclusive North American distribution rights. 

According to Fortress, the transaction would allow the company to focus on core metals products, including steel and aluminum railing, steel deck framing, fencing, pergolas and lighting. Eva-Last noted they have been in partnership with Fortress for seven years working on the APEX PVC and Infinity I-Series Composites. 

“We are excited to take this next step in our strategic plans,” said Mike Walsh, president and CEO of Fortress Building Products. “Fortress has seen strong growth in its core metals products, and this divestiture accelerates our growth.”
