Garaga owners acquire Novatech Group Inc.

The Gendreau family, Canadian owners of Garaga Inc., a North American manufacturer of garage doors, will acquire Novatech Group Inc., a Canadian company specializing in the manufacture of entry doors, doorglass, patio doors, and tailor-made insulated glass.

Raymond Ouellette founded Novatech in 1982 in Sainte-Julie, QC. The company now has 16 plants and distribution centres in Canada and the US, as well as an innovation centre for research and development of new products.

Harold Savard, the current president of Novatech, will remain in office and continue to be a shareholder and the company's management will remain the same. Sharing of best practices and potential synergies will be explored.
