Gatineau business receives government funding to enhance productivity
The Canadian government has awarded $200,000 to Structures KSM, a Gatineau-based manufacturer of roof trusses, through Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED). Announced by MP Sophie Chatel, this repayable contribution is expected to enhance the company’s productivity and competitiveness.
The funding, part of the Regional Economic Growth through Innovation program, enabled Structures KSM to acquire an A4 automated saw and necessary software. This investment will reduce the physical workload on employees, lower injury risks, and boost overall efficiency.
Structures KSM’s commitment to innovation and quality aligns with the government’s goal of fostering regional economic development and supporting local businesses.
