Goodfellow Sales Decrease

Goodfellow Inc. had net earnings of $4.4 million for the fourth quarter of 2022, a loss of 56.4 per cent compared to net earnings of $10.1 million from the prior-year period. Consolidated sales were $149.3 million, an increase of 4.3 per cent versus $143 million from the year-ago period. Gross margin for the fourth quarter was 19.4 per cent compared to 23 per cent last year. Product distribution for the quarter was lumber at 55 per cent; flooring at 19 per cent; specialty and commodity panels at 18 per cent; and building materials at eight per cent.
