Griffon has slight decrease in revenue

Griffon Corporation had revenue of $643.2 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2024, a one percent decrease compared to $649.4 million in the prior year quarter. Net income totaled $42.2 million compared to $48.7 million in the prior year quarter. Adjusted EBITDA for the first quarter was $116.4 million, a seven percent increase from the prior year quarter of $108.6 million. The Home and Building Products segment had revenue of $395.8 million, consistent with the first quarter of fiscal 2023. Revenue for the Consumer and Professional Products segment decreased two percent to $247.4 million compared to the year-ago period.
