Griffon Has Strong Fourth Quarter

Griffon Corporation had revenue of $709 million for the fourth quarter of 2022, an increase of 24 per cent compared to revenue of $570 million in the fourth quarter of 2021. The company had a loss from continuing operations of $415.4 million in the quarter compared to a loss from continuing operations of $12.6 million in the prior-year quarter, Adjusted income from continuing operations was $59.7 million compared to $17.7 million and adjusted earnings before taxes was $125 million, up 135 per cent compared to $53 million in the year-ago period.
