Griffon Q2 revenues slide, income climbs

Griffon Corporation had revenue of $672.9 million for the second quarter of fiscal year 2024, a five percent decrease compared to revenue of $711 million in the second quarter of fiscal year 2023. Net income totaled $64.1 million compared to a net loss of $62.3 million in the prior year quarter. Adjusted EBITDA for the second quarter was $134.2 million, a two percent decrease from the prior year quarter of $136.9 million. The Home and Building Products segment second quarter revenue decreased one percent year over year to $392.1 million and the Consumer and Professional Products segment revenue decreased 11 percent to $280.8 million.
