Home Hardware celebrates 60th anniversary

Home Hardware Stores Limited is celebrating its 60th anniversary with sales, promotions, and contests. Sixty years ago in St. Jacobs, ON, Walter J. Hachborn and Henry Sittler laid the groundwork for what would become Canada’s largest dealer-owned and operated home improvement retailer. Since then, Home has expanded to more than 1,000 stores operating under the Home Hardware, Home Building Centre, Home Hardware Building Centre, and Home Furniture banners.

The retailer is offering sales in key categories as part of its 60th Anniversary Sale; a national contest where customers can enter to win one of two $5,000 grand prizes or one of 50 $1,000 gift cards; a Scene+ ‘60 Bonus Points’ promotion; and a social media contest where customers can share their Home Hardware core memories for a chance to win a prize.
