Home Hardware names new president and CEO

Home Hardware Stores Limited has appointed Ian White as its new president and CEO, effective November 18th. White brings over 30 years of retail experience, most recently serving as president of Parkland Canada.

White’s background includes senior leadership roles at Parkland Corporation and Canadian Tire, where he honed his expertise in marketing, merchandising, and digital strategy. Home Hardware’s Board of Directors expressed confidence in White’s ability to lead the company’s continued growth.

“Ian has a proven track record of leadership, strategic vision, and has expressed a deep commitment to our dealer model that has been the source of the company’s success for over 60 years,” said Christine Hand, chair of the Board.

White succeeds Kevin Macnab, who is retiring after six years with the company.
