Home Hardware plants trees for National Forestry Week
Home Hardware Stores Limited commemorated National Tree Day by partnering with Tree Canada to enhance green spaces nationwide. This initiative marks over 32 years of community engagement through tree planting events.
In Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, dealer-owner Amanda Fancy and local volunteers planted two mature Maple trees, joined by mayor David Mitchell and the Bridgewater Garden Club. Kevin Macnab, president and CEO, emphasized the importance of community connection, stating, “The planting events with Tree Canada are just one of the ways our Dealers strengthen their communities.”
Throughout September, 22 Home stores will host tree planting activities aimed at expanding urban and rural green spaces, furthering Tree Canada’s mission to improve Canadian communities through tree conservation.
