Honey Electric joins SAT companies in strategic growth partnership

SAT Companies, led by president Albert Testa, announced the acquisition of Honey Electric Limited (HEL), a electrical solutions provider in Southwestern Ontario. Founded in 1976, HEL offers integrated services in design, engineering, procurement, and construction across agricultural, commercial, industrial, and government sectors.

John Smith, SAT’s CEO, expressed excitement over the acquisition, citing HEL’s strong reputation and skilled workforce. Reginald MacDonald, HEL’s founder, highlighted the shared “people-first” mindset between the companies.

The acquisition also includes JRB Electrical Services, a top generator installer in Ontario. HEL’s management team will remain in place as part of the strategic growth plan.

With this move, SAT Companies, one of Canada’s top electrical contractors, continues to expand its footprint in various sectors with a workforce exceeding 200 employees.
