IKEA opens new planning hub in Barrie

IKEA Canada will celebrate the grand opening of its new plan and order point in Barrie, Ontario, on June 28, 2024. The 5,274 sq. ft. location in the SmartCentre Barrie South shopping centre offers appointment-based planning services for complex home furnishing solutions. Customers can plan, order, and purchase with the help of IKEA specialists and explore a curated selection of home furnishings.

The event starts at 9:00 AM with tours, followed by an opening ceremony and ribbon cutting at 9:30 AM. Remarks will be made by IKEA Canada CEO Selwyn Crittendon, Mayor Alex Nuttall, and other officials. The public can enter at 10:00 AM. Interviews are available upon request.
