IKEA to hire 10 remote employees for Roblox game experience

IKEA is hiring 10 virtual employees for its upcoming game, “The Co-Worker,” set to launch June 24 on Roblox. The roles, open to applicants in the UK and Ireland, will offer a remote and flexible work environment at £13.15 (€14.80) per hour.

Darren Taylor, IKEA UK and Ireland’s country people and culture manager, stated the game reflects IKEA’s unique career approach, where “non-linear career journeys” are the norm.

Applications are accepted until June 16, with virtual interviews scheduled between June 14 and June 18. Successful candidates will work in various store sections, assisting users and promoting IKEA’s career philosophy.
