Inflation impacts Goodfellow Q1 sales

Goodfellow Inc. had consolidate sales of $105.3 million for the first quarter of 2024, relatively flat compared to sales of $105.9 million in the first quarter of 2023. The company says sales were impacted by lingering inflation and cautious consumer sentiment. Selling, administrative, and general expenses were also flat at $22.8 million in the first quarter compared to $21.7 million in the year-ago period. The company had a net loss of $108,000 compared to $211,000 in the year-ago period.
