Inflation Impacts Newell Brands
Newell Brands had net sales of $2.3 billion in the third quarter of 2022, a 19.2 per cent decline compared to the third quarter of 2021. Core sales were down 10.8 per cent year over year. The commercial solutions segment had core sales growth of 9.2 per cent year over year; the home appliances segment had a core sales decline of 23.2 per cent; the home solutions segment had a core sales decline of 11.6 per cent; and the outdoor and recreation segment had a core sales decline of 18.4 per cent.
