Interfor Completes Chaleur Forest Acquisition

Interfor Corporation has completed its acquisition of 100 per cent of the equity interest in Chaleur Forest Products in New Brunswick from an affiliate of the Kilmer Group. Chaleur owns two sawmill operations with a combined annual lumber production capacity of 350 million board feet. It also operates a woodlands management division that manages approximately 30 per cent of the total crown forest in New Brunswick.
