IPEX Invests In Pennsylvania Facility

IPEX has expanded its warehouse and distribution facility in Middletown, PA. This is the company’s 16th investment in its facilities in four years. This facility will now serve the northeast area, which is currently serviced via IPEX’s distribution centres in Charlotte and Pineville, NC; Cincinnati, OH; and Oakville, ON. “This DC is the newest in our multi-year strategy to expand our footprint in the U.S.,” says Alex Mestres, IPEX’s chief executive officer. “Opening in the northeast not only allows us to better serve customers in the region by having the products they want closer to them, but also creates more flexibility at our other facilities so we can continue to improve service levels for our customers in other regions.” The 250,000-square-foot distribution centre will incorporate health and safety best practices and technologies – including scanning and material handling equipment and pedestrian safety equipment. Future growth plans for IPEX in 2023 include additional distribution centres in the southern and western U.S.
