James Hardie has strong Q4

James Hardie Industries plc had net sales of $978.3 million in the third quarter of its fiscal year 2024, an increase of 14 percent compared to net sales of $860.8 million in the third quarter of its fiscal year 2023. Sales for the North America fibre cement segment increased 13 percent year over year to $727 million.

Overall EBIT was $226.1 million for the quarter, up 39 percent over EBIT of $162.9 million in the prior-year quarter. EBIT margin was 23.1 percent compared 18.9 percent. Net income was $145.1 million, up 45 percent compared to $100.1 million in the prior-year period.
