LEDVANCE to maintain exclusive OSRAM licensing agreement

ams OSRAM and LEDVANCE have renewed their exclusive licensing partnership for OSRAM-branded general lighting lamps, extending the agreement beyond 2026. The partnership will now also include general lighting luminaires outside of mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao.

Since 2016, LEDVANCE has been the sole licensee of OSRAM and SYLVANIA brands for general lighting lamps. The renewed and expanded agreement highlights the successful collaboration and the ongoing commitment to innovation in general lighting. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“LEDVANCE is the ideal partner for us to advance the OSRAM brand globally in the field of general lighting,” said Aldo Kamper, CEO of ams OSRAM. Jue Wang, LEDVANCE executive senior vice president, emphasized that the expanded license will enhance their global business growth.
