LP adds new thickness options to insulated sheathing line

LP Building Solutions (LP), a high-performance building products manufacturer, has expanded its LP NOVACORE Thermal Insulated Sheathing line. It has introduced two new thickness options, R3 and R7, which broadens the options available to builders and homeowners seeking more efficient homes with lower energy costs.

With the latest variations, builders now have three foam thickness options: 1/2-inch foam (R3), 1-inch foam (R5), and 1-1/2-inch foam (R7). Featuring OWENS CORNING FOAMULAR NGX XPS foam, these panels can strengthen thermal resistance and help shield homes against fluctuating temperatures. This provides potential energy savings for homeowners.

The LP NovaCore sheathing’s installation mirrors traditional OSB structural sheathing and utilizes standard 2x4 spacing so that builders can seamlessly integrate these panels into their projects without the need for extensive framing adjustments.
