LP Second Quarter Sales Slide

Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (LP) had net sales of $1,130 million in the second quarter of 2022, a decrease of three per cent over net sales of $1,168 million in the second quarter of 2021. This included a 14 per cent decrease in OSB revenue offset partially by 23 per cent revenue growth in the siding segment. Income from continuing operations was $348 million, down 28 per cent compared to the second quarter of 2021. Adjusted earnings before taxes were $491 million, a decrease of $174 million over the prior-year period.
