Moffatt And Powell Acquire 10th Location

Moffatt and Powell, a family-owned building materials and retail supplier and RONA member, has acquired its 10th Ontario store in Grand Bend, ON. The retailer will redesign the store, which offers a sales floor of 6,000 square feet with 5,000 square feet of warehouse space. It plans an expansion of 10,000 square feet for the outdoor lumberyard and will add 1,000 additional SKUs, mostly in the lumber and building materials category. The retailer will also update SKUs in several other categories including seasonal and outdoor. When complete, the store will offer a total of 10,500 products.
