Mont-Louis store joins Home Hardware banner

Mont-Louis, QC-based Quincaillerie B.L. has joined the Home Hardware banner. 

Founded by Bernardin Lemieux and his wife Louise Côté-Lemieux 50 years ago, their sons, David and Louis, also work at the store and are well equipped to take the reins of the business one day. The store has become a fixture in its small community, supporting several local charities. 

The store is located in the Haute-Gaspésie region on the shores of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. In addition to a wide range of hardware, paint, and renovation products, Quincaillerie B.L. offers a localized assortment of hunting and fishing equipment, key cutting, project estimates, and delivery. 

“We chose to join Home Hardware because its business model aligned with our values,” says Bernardin. “My family and I are happy to remain independent dealer-owners while benefitting from the vast selection of products and marketing programs that Home has to offer.”
