Mudsill anchor is for offsite construction
Simpson Strong-Tie’s MASOZ and MASOPZ mudsill anchors are designed for securing factory-built, sheathed wall panels. The MASOZ design eliminates the need for additional field-installed blocking when installing sheathed walls. After the MASOZ is installed and the concrete is cured, sheathed wall panels can be craned into place without the hassle of trying to align sill plate bolt holes with cast-in-place anchor bolts. Also, unlike post-installed anchors, the MASOZ requires no separate crew to drill and set anchors. The MASOZ comes standard with ZMAX coating, is designed to work with standard form boards, and is code listed by ICC-ES under the 2021 IBC and IRC. Two versions of the MASOZ are available – the MASOZ for installation on standard form boards, and MASOPZ for panel forms.
