OHBA and EnerQuality appoint interim board

The Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA) and EnerQuality have named Gord Cooke, Brian Johnston, and Peter Saturno to an interim board of directors to oversee EnerQuality’s expansion. The appointments follow OHBA’s acquisition of full ownership of EnerQuality in September 2024.

The new board will help shape strategic direction, assess skills for a permanent board, and assist in recruiting a new CEO. “This marks another step in the journey for EnerQuality, which we hope will become a revenue generator for OHBA,” said CEO Scott Andison.

EnerQuality, known for certifying over 120,000 energy-efficient homes, plans to expand its certification programs and training offerings.
