Port Moody to gain over 325 new below-market homes in major development

Construction is underway on The Creek, a new affordable housing project in Port Moody that will deliver 328 below-market rental homes to families, seniors, and Indigenous people. The project is part of the larger 23-acre Portwood development, with the first phase consisting of three six-storey apartment buildings.

The Creek will offer a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, with 75% dedicated to family-sized two-bedroom homes. Sixty-six units will be fully accessible, and 166 adaptable, ensuring diverse housing options.

Supported by federal, provincial, and city contributions, this project is a collaborative effort to address housing shortages. Completion is expected by late 2026.
