Quebec City Home Sales Down
The Quebec City, QC, census metropolitan area (CMA) had 521 residential sales in January, a decrease of 24 per cent from January 2022, says the Quebec Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers (QPAREB). Quebec City north (-34 per cent) and the south shore of Quebec City (-33 per cent) both saw larger declines in residential sales than the CMA average. There were 327 single-family homes sold, a decline of 23 per cent year over year. Thirty-four small income properties were sold in the month, a decrease of 28 per cent from January last year. There were 158 condominiums sold, a decrease of 27 per cent.
