Regina begins early works on 240-bed long-term care facility

The Government of Saskatchewan has commenced the “Early Works Phase” for the Regina Specialized Beds Long-Term Care Home project, according to an announcement made on Tuesday.

This phase includes essential site preparation, such as grading and installing utilities, to pave the way for the construction of a new 240-bed facility near the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Regina campus. The home will serve seniors and residents with complex care needs.

Local firm N.I.S Contractors Ltd. leads the early works, with completion expected by November 2024. The project marks a significant investment in Saskatchewan’s health infrastructure.
