ROCKWOOL Fourth Quarter Sales Up 11 Per Cent

ROCKWOOL A/S had sales of €955 million in the fourth quarter of 2022, an increase of 11 per cent in local currencies over 2021. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) were €101 million for the quarter, up six per cent compared to the prior-year period, while EBIT margin was 10.5 per cent, down 0.7 percentage points from the year-ago quarter. Profit for the year was €273 million, a decrease of €30 million compared to the 2021 period. The company says all five of its intermediate sustainability goals for 2022 were met and it is on track to meet its 2030 goals.
