RONA+ brand expands into Quebec
RONA inc. is converting the Réno-Dépôt store in Hull, QC, to the RONA+ banner as part of its strategy to build its RONA+ brand.
The conversions to the RONA+ banner that took place in other Canadian provinces had a very positive impact on store performance, the company said in a statement. “We are confident that this pilot project at the Réno-Dépôt store in Hull will bring positive results and lead the way for the upcoming arrival of this new banner in Quebec.”
RONA+ in Quebec is the result of two strong Quebec brands – RONA and Réno-Dépôt – joining forces to offer Quebecers an enhanced hardware experience. RONA+ will offer DIYers, decorators, and Pro customers a large range of products, low prices, and expert in-store service, the company says.
Over the past 12 months, 41 RONA+ stores have opened in other Canadian provinces. Another 15 stores will be added by March 1, 2024 (in British Columbia and Alberta).
