RONA banners support children's charities

The RONA Foundation, which oversees the philanthropic activities of RONA inc., the parent company of the Lowe’s, RONA, and Réno-Dépôt banners, is contributing $1.02 million to Opération Enfant Soleil (OES) and Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). From March 27 to May 5, employees of the corporate and affiliated stores across the country, at six distribution centres, and at the Boucherville head office collected donations in-store and online, sold tickets, and solicited suppliers. The foundation recently marked its 25th anniversary with a new mission: to help improve the quality of life of Canadians in need by revitalizing their living environments or make it easier to access housing. In particular, it aims to help victims of domestic violence and their children, low-income families, and people with special needs or mental health issues.
