RONA celebrates 85 years with rebranding and promotions

RONA Inc., a major Canadian home improvement retailer, is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Founded in 1939 as Les Marchands en Quincaillerie ltée, the company adopted the name RONA in honor of founding partners Rolland Dansereau and Napoléon Piotte. 

To commemorate the anniversary, RONA will rebrand its remaining Réno-Dépôt locations as RONA+ stores, including two additional locations in Québec and Winnipeg. Celebrations will begin on October 10 with grand openings in select stores.

The company will also launch an advertising campaign to promote the RONA+ brand and offer promotions, events, and activities throughout October, both online and in-store, for customers across the country.
