RONA highlights environmental and social achievements in 2023

RONA Inc. released its 2023 Sustainable Development Report, highlighting key environmental and social initiatives. The company focused on offering eco-friendly products, reducing its environmental footprint, and creating safe workplaces.

Key achievements include over 5,000 ECO products, recovery of 1,980 tonnes of materials, installation of 1,024 solar panels, and a $3 million donation to nonprofits. RONA received several recognitions, including Canada’s Greenest Employers, ENERGY STAR Canada, and “Great Place to Work” certification.

President and CEO Andrew Iacobucci emphasized the importance of corporate responsibility. “Doing the right thing and being a responsible corporate citizen is something we care deeply about at RONA,” he said. “[It’s] more important than ever that we do our part to ensure the well-being of our teams, our customers, and our communities.”

Senior Director Mélanie Lussier acknowledged the dedication of RONA’s employees in achieving these goals.
