RSG International launches inclusive PPE for construction workers

RSG International has partnered with Mark’s Commercial to provide inclusive personal protective equipment (PPE) to all employees. The initiative, already in use at Powell Contracting, features PPE tailored to diverse needs, including women’s sizes.

“We’re committed to providing PPE that goes beyond simply fitting men and women,” said Lisa Laronde, president of RSG International. “Safety shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all; it should reflect the diversity of the workforce.”

Mark’s Commercial has supplied RSG International with VizLite® vests, which improve visibility in low-light conditions for road workers. 

“For women in construction, finding PPE that fits well is a constant challenge,” added Jenn Eden, health and safety manager at Powell Contracting. “When your equipment fits right, you can focus on the job without worrying about whether you're properly protected.”
